About the artwork
Exclusive Edition #1
This exclusive edition is a collection of photographs by five artists who touch in some way on thinking about space. Whether it is a composition with a basic geometric shape or their unfolding in new structures obscuring the phenomenon of socialist architecture, the fluidity of capturing an object in time, time-lapse shots of Iceland's bay or the pervasive control over a given space, it is a diverse range of approaches by artists of different generations.
Bio
Part of the editon is a collector's box, the boards of which are covered with Toile Ocean, an innovative and sustainable coating material from Swiss creative packaging manufacturer Winter & Company. The synthetic canvas is made from ocean plastic and woven from 100% recycled plastic waste. The photographs themselves are realised using Giclée's archival pigment printing technology, which can create perfectly subtle tonal gradients and a wide range and depth of colours which is supported by the selected Hahnemühle FineArt Pearl paper. The edition is signed, numbered and accompanied by a certificate guaranteeing the authors' supervision of the final print and their authenticity.
